I removed the Population Progression section, since it showed the population of the Municipality of Tórshavn, and not the Town of Tórshavn. Mulder1982 17:07, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Twinnings
I can't find any hint on the official homepage of Tórshavn, that any of the mentioned cities in the article where twinnings of Tórshavn. Actually, they are Reykjavík and Nuuk, plus Aberdeen and Stavanger as cooperation cities. Additionally, Tórshavn is within the network of Nordic capitals (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Mariehamn, Nuuk, Reykjavík).
