Témiscamingue (provincial electoral district)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Témiscamingue is a former provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Situated in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region in western Quebec, it was created after the 1908 provincial elections from parts of the district of Pontiac in the Outaouais region which existed in 1867. It was re-merged with Pontiac after the 1970 elections and later into the new Rouyn-Noranda—Témiscamingue riding before the 1981 elections. From 1912 to 1922, it was also known as Temiscaming.
