Tåsen is a station on Sognsvannsbanen (line 3) of the Oslo T-bane system. The station lies between Berg and Østhorn and is 6.8 km from Stortinget. As one of the original stations on the line, Tåsen was opened on October 10, 1934.[1]
The station is located near the roundabout of Tåsenkrysset. The station was also moved a bit north in the 1990s. After Tåsen the line turns northwards and crosses the circumferential highway Ring 3 of Oslo which passes beneath in a tunnel. The area around Tåsen is mainly residential, but the small shopping centre Tåsen senter is near the station as well.
