Talk:Táin Bó

The plural of táin is tana, not táins. MaryJones 01:44, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Ha! You beat me to it. Hi, Mary :-) Yes, I found this page today and came here to make this exact point. This article needs renaming. If we're going with an Irish name here, it should be correct, not an English/Irish hybrid that is incorrect in both languages. If there is no objection in the immediate future, I'm going to move this... unfortunately, Tana is a disambig. Perhaps something linke Tana (cattle raids) or Tana (Irish tales)? I think I prefer the latter. Any other suggestions? - Kathryn NicDhàna 01:31, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Other options Tana (literature) and Tana (Irish literature) - Kathryn NicDhàna 20:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I think the best solution is to keep it singular, and call it Táin Bó - which I've done. --Nicknack009 21:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
That's better! Thanks, Nick, it's looking good now. - Kathryn NicDhàna 05:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Nicknack/Patrick--works for me! MaryJones (talk) 04:40, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
