Talk:Székesfehérvár
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why is the second world war history missing. There was a major offensive in the area by the Germans alongside Hungarian forces versus the Soviet Army (large Soviet war cemetery in town centre), not to mention the bombing of the rail marshalling yards by the British and Americans. The town was severely damaged, with xxx number of casualties.
It seems a common thing to skip this piece of history, and whatever the reason for this it did happen, after all the Turks get a mention with their rampaging. Can anyone expand on this?Sidney Bung 20:52, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
