[edit] Image:Frontshot.jpg listed for deletion
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Cbrown1023 02:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[edit] Andy Dufrain
A tag has been placed on Andy Dufrain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Fan-1967 02:58, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Unless you can produce citations from reliable news sources that there is a Notable person named Andy Dufrain, do not create it again. Fan-1967 03:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wausau East High School
I welcome you to WikiProject Wisconsin! I noticed that you created the Wausau East High School article. I took the liberty of updating the article to Wikipedia standards and adding it to the WikiProject. You had a lot of great information, it just needed a bit of tweaking. I added it to the appropriate categories. One thing that I find useful is to find an article about a similar thing (another high school in a larger Wisconsin city in this case - I used Sheboygan North High School) and copy the categories from it. Often you can use the layout/format too. I added a welcome to you at the top of this page. I hope that you read a few of the links. They explain how to contribute. Almost everyone goes through a few bumps in the road like I see above. Uploading images are extremely tricky even to long-term contributors. I suggest that you upload only pictures that you took yourself, and then contact a veteran contributor to make sure that the image tags are right. Anything that you find on a website is most always NOT able to be uploaded. Make sure that you don't keep starting articles like you did for Dufrain. Contact me if you want help in determining if he is notable. I hope that you find contributing enjoyable and continue contributing! Royalbroil T : C 12:59, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Hmong Bloodz
The article New Hmong Bloodz has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Woodchuckstadium.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Woodchuckstadium.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. [edit] License tagging for Image:MetroRide.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MetroRide.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:09, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use disputed for Image:WSDemblem.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:WSDemblem.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:08, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
