Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Idukki

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Idukki is a Roman Catholic diocese in India, under the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. It is a suffragan diocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. The creation of the diocese is contained in an Apostolic Constitution "Maturescens catholica fideis" put forth by Pope John Paul II in December 2002, it is the twenty-sixth diocese of the Church. Fr. Mathew Anikuzhikattil from the diocese of Kothamangalam is bishop of the diocese.
