From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Syracuse Pros from Syracuse, New York of the American Professional Football Association (now the NFL) was a franchise that was organized in 1921. They played a scoreless 0-0 tie in their first game against the Tonawanda Kardex, and lost their other two league games to the Washington Senators and the Rochester Jeffersons to finish with a 0-2-1 record in the APFA. After one season, the Pros left the APFA and reverted back to independent status as the All-Syracuse team.
