°The role of nSec1 (aka Munc18) binding to Syntaxin is still under debate. The predominant model thus far posits that nSec1 binds to the closed conformation of Syntaxin and stabilizes this conformation, however more recent data suggests that nSec1 may bind to Syntaxin in other conformations as well.

Hi there, you'd better open an account and edit the entries in Wikipedia.
