Sync was a US-based men's publication focusing on gadgets and lifestyle. It debuted in June 2004. Geared toward the much sought after 18-35 male demographic, Sync featured the latest and hottest MP3 players, digital cameras, videogames (and other consumer tech), as well as movie and music reviews/interviews. Sync differed from other "geek" magazines with its hip writing and use of bikini clad women. Originally published bi-monthly, Sync began a monthly schedule beginning in October 2005.
In November 2005 it was reported that Sync did not reach its subscriber goals and publisher Ziff Davis was hoping to sell the publication. Having failed to find a buyer, the publication was then folded, and ceased publishing after the December 2005/January 2006 issue.
Sync was also the name of an early-1980s American magazine for users of Sinclair and Timex Sinclair computers. Both SYNC Mags were published by Ziff-Davis.
