Symphony No. 1 (Scriabin)

Alexander Scriabin's Symphony No. 1 (opus 26) in E major. This piece was written from 1899 to 1900.

It consists of six movements:

  • I - Lento
  • II - Allegro dramatico
  • III - Lento
  • IV - Vivace
  • V - Allegro
  • VI - Andante

A normal performance of this piece would be approximately 54 minutes long.

The words of the chorus in the finale are:

Ruling omnipotently over the earth Come all peoples everywhere To Art. Let us sing its praises [1]
