Symphonic Anime Orchestra

The Symphonic Anime Orchestra is an amateur symphony orchestra based out of Denver, Colorado, directed by Kathryn Vedder, performing orchestral settings of music pertaining to Japanese anime. Founded in 2005, the orchestra has performed at the Nan Desu Kan anime convention every year since the group's creation. Currently, the ensemble is on hiatus from Nan Desu Kan 2008 while developing chamber ensembles to tour anime conventions around the western United States, starting with the group's quartet, which performed at the premier of Wasabi Con in Denver.
