Symantec Endpoint Protection is a program by Symantec Corporation for enterprises. It is formerly known as Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. It provides security for Servers and Clients. It is one of Symantec's flagship business products. It is aimed at centrally managed corporate environments and has features not present in the regular consumer retail versions of Norton Antivirus software. It is designed for Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2003 and Windows Vista/XP/2000.
The current version is Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0, previous version are Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.x, Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 9.x, Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 8.x, and Symantec Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.x. There is also a Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition for Linux as well.
