Sylvirana aurantiaca is a species of frog endemic to the Western Ghats of India. The species was earlier considered to be found in Sri Lanka but may be a different species.[2]
The type locality of the species is Trivandrum and the holotype is in the Natural History Museum(BM 1947.2.2.92 formerly 1903.9.26.1).[3]
