Sylvester Middle School is a middle school in Burien, Washington, United States, located across the street from Highline Medical Center.

Represented as the Tomcats, Sylvester serves students in grades 7 and 8. Most students who attend Sylvester move on to Highline High School

In the 2007-08 school year, more than 100 new students have joined Sylvester, making the school's population more than 800 students. Lots of kids transferred from Cascade Middle School over to Sylvester because of the better benefits. At Cascade Middle School you must share lockers with another student while at Sylvester you get your own.
