Sydney Spiesel

Dr. Sydney Z. Spiesel is a pediatrician on the clinical faculty of the Yale University School of Medicine.[1]

Spiesel is the inventor (US patent 5997847 ) of a shampoo that makes lice eggs (nits) fluoresce under ultraviolet light, so making them more visible.[2][3]

Spiesel is a regular commentator for Slate magazine[4] and National Public Radio. [5]
