Sydney Smith (badminton and tennis player)

Sydney Howard Smith, (born 3 February 1872 in Stroud, Gloucestershire – died 27 March 1947 in Stroud) was a British badminton and tennis player.

Sydney Smith was All England Badminton champion in 1900. 1897 – 1906 he was Welsh tennis champion. He and Frank Riseley won the doubles in Wimbledon in 1902 and 1906. In 1905 and 1906 he was member of the British Davis Cup team.
