Sydney Ayres

Sydney Ayres (28 August 1879, New York City - 9 September 1916, Oakland California) was an American silent film actor, director and screenwriter.

Known for his handsome, suave looks he often simultaneously acted and directed films after 1913.

He died from multiple sclerosis in 1916 aged only 37.
