[edit] Summary
DVD screen capture of the Canadian television producer Sydney Newman, interviewed in 1984 for the BBC Oral History Project, uploaded to illustrate his article. Taken by User:Angmering from the Doctor Who — Origins documentary on the Doctor Who — The Beginning DVD release, released in January 2006. Copyright in the source programme is owned by the BBC.
Fair use rationale for the inclusion of this image in the article Sydney Newman.
- Newman was a prominent and important television producer and executive, but as he was a producer rather than a performer or an actor it is more difficult to find visual material with which to illustrate his article.
- The image is of a lower resolution than the DVD original, as required by Wikipedia fair use standards.
- The image is included purely for informational purposes and is not believed to detract from the original production in any way.
