Talk:Sycorax (moon)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
According to The Royal Shakespeare Company, this is pronounced [SICK-or-aks].
Some online guides to Shakespeare have SYE-kor-aks. However, the 1964 (1996) Shakespeare Recording Society CD, with Hugh Griffith as Caliban, agrees with the RSC in having SICK-or-aks. kwami
Why does the footer say "Sycorax' group" rather than just "Sycorax"? Molinari 00:53, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Because it lists only the largest moons, and then uses two slots for the remaining rubble...er, moonlets. Sycorax is the largest of its group.

Makes sense. But then shouldn't the article one gets when one clicks on "Sycorax' group" (or "Puck's group") give some information about the moonlets? And shouldn't it be "Sycorax's"? Cheers. Molinari 18:48, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Colour
Sycorax appears light red (Retting 2001, Grav 2003, see refs for irregular satellites). When Sycorax indices have been measured they contrasted with Jupiter's neutral moons. Since then, it does not seem that Sycorax is considered exceptional anymore and KBO connection has weekened. Reference to the contrary are welcome. Eurocommuter 09:03, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
