Sycamore High School (SHS) is a four year high school in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Sycamore Community School District.

The class of 2005 had a composite ACT score of 24.4 and a composite SAT score of 1664; both are above the averages for Ohio and nationally.[citation needed] 99.6% went on to further education in college.[citation needed]

In 1999, Sycamore had a record 35 National Merit Scholars, the highest number for any public school in Ohio.[citation needed] That year, four students also scored perfect scores on the major college entrance examinations, including the only two perfect ACT scores in Ohio that year (out of sixteen nationwide).

Sycamore regularly places nationally in the National Science Bowl, including as high as fourth place in 2002.
Sycamore is also arguably the top school in the state of Ohio in mathematics, having placed first in the Ohio Math League competition in 2004-05, 1999-2000, 1998-99, and 1997-98, and won first place in Ohio in the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics competition in 2007, 2001, 2000. In 1998, Sycamore High School student Kevin Lacker placed in the top six in the country on the USA Mathematical Olympiad, earning a berth on the national team at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Taipei.
