On January 19 2008, I first joined Wikipedia anonymously, and created an account or three but kept forgetting my passwords as I had no intention of joining the 'the largest group-writing project in human history' (sounded like too much at the time). I had previously glanced through "Wikipedia: The Missing Manual" by John Broughton so decided to open an account and begin editing here as a registered user.
