[edit] Titanium

Why is titanium mentioned? Is it a core story component? This seems unlikely given the apparent fantasy setting, although this will have to be confirmed by someone who has read the books. Titanium is neither a traditional nor appropriate material for swords, and if it isn't mentioned in the story then in any case the reference constitutes OR. Leushenko 14:44, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

The same thing occured to me when I read it. I've read a number of Redwall books with the SoM in it, and there was nary a breath of titanium that I saw...so, I've removed the offending statement. -Toptomcat 01:42, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
