Sworn Amongst are a heavy metal band from Kingston upon Hull, England.
After the band's inception in September 2002 they made their first live appearance in May of 2004. Following on from this they finished second in the Snickers Unsigned competition of 2005 which was sponsored by Kerrang! magazine.
June 2006 saw the departure of original singer Andy Napierski, who was subsequently replaced on vocals by co-founding member Liam Liddell. In turn, this saw the arrival of new guitarist Harvey Fox.
In 2006 they appeared on the main stage at the UK's Bloodstock Festival, alongside other metal bands such as Deathstars and My Dying Bride. This was followed in 2007 with appearances at Glastonbudget Festival and Lunacy Festival
In June 2007, the band signed to Rising Records, with a new album slated for full release in March 2008.
The band are currently touring their debut album 'And So It Begins' throughout the UK and Ireland.
