[edit] Plot introduction

In this story, the birds of Stone-Run Forest are in danger of being enslaved by Turnatt, the evil tyrant hawk lord of Fortress Glooming which is being built. Only Swordbird, a giant dove-like bird of peace with magical powers, has the power to defeat Turnatt with the use of a Leasorn Sword, with one of the Leasorn Gems on its hilt, said to be a crystallized tear of the Great Spirit with the power to summon Swordbird. But there are only seven Leasorn Gems in the world, with an eighth one in Swordbird's sword, so the birds of Stone-Run have no clue where to find one. However, when Miltin tells them that his tribe has one of the Leasorns, Aska and Miltin go on an immediate quest going through perils. Swordbird tells of the quest for peace of the birds of Stone-Run Forest. [1]
