Template talk:Swl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SWL stands for shared watch list. I created this template with List of chess topics in mind but if there are other pages like that, they can use this template, too. This template removes the need to type everything twice. --ZeroOne 10:54, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
- Is there a specific reason this template is used and not just link - link - link? Shinobu 02:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

- List of chess topics tracks the article talk pages too. Thus, the links in there are actually in the form "Chess -". Using this template cuts the page code size (almost) in half and makes adding new links easier, as this template creates both of those links. --ZeroOne 10:26, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ah. When I looked at it the talk link wasn't there. Check the article's history; it has been removed for a while. Shinobu 12:49, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
