[edit] Southern extent of Switzerland
The article says that:
- "the area is situated between 100 and 999 km both E and N, therefore all coordinates always contain - measured in meters - six digits."
Looking at a SwissInfo map with the Swiss coordinates on it, it appears that the southernmost point in Switzerland is at about 574400,078570, just west of the Col du Grand-Saint-Bernard; there is another close contender for the southernmost point, about 6 km further east, but this appears to be about 30 metres further north. So, unless I'm mistaken, it appears that the latitude (y) coordinate can be only five digits (or six with an initial zero). Mtford 00:33, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
