[edit] Style of writing
The style of writing is rather informal and the language could be further improved. Unfortunately, as I have not seen the show I can't edit several parts like "The tiger tried to get its claws on the dogs, but they wouldn't let him touch them, and then BAM!", also is the ending really "Roberta spotted the pirates, alerts the others who soon head for the fortress..." I think that there is no need to write in such detail and unnecessary information could be cut out, and the main plot should take priority.--M3rrick 02:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Urban legend?
The original cast called for a fourth son who was rather ponchier and round, named Patrick Malloy Robinson. He was later cut from the cast when he was found sleeping with one of the other male cast members. The Patrick Malloy Robinson incident was covered up by the crew and never made the tabloids.
What evidence is there for this? --Jess Gordon 20:19, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- I deleted this item. There has been some past juvenile vandalism of this article from anonymous IPs, and this is clearly another such incident. StanislavJ 02:42, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Swiss family robinson322.jpg
Image:Swiss family robinson322.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
