There seems to be conflicting information out there as to whether Swingfire is MCLOS or SACLOS. The MOD page [1] says SACLOS but most of the other sources I have been able to find seem to indicate MCLOS with an automatic gathering system. The system seems to have had several upgrades throughout its service so it would be nice if someone who has used it recently (for instance in OIF/Telic) could give an authoratitive answer. [edit] Missle Type

It seems to be stated everywhere that Swingfire is a Heat missle. I was always told it is a HESH missile and, having seen the damage it does, I would assume HESH to be corect. TINY MARK 23:48, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
