[edit] Copyright Violation Error
I cannot describe the enormity of the silliness of having an automated bot handle copyright violations. The copyvio was way off the mark; it clearly states on the page the bot marked as being the original work that all text is licensed by a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, which is clearly acceptable per WP:CFAQ. What is wrong with Wikipedia? -GregChant (talk) 03:03, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- The bot isn't really handling copyright violations -- it just spotlights articles that bear a startling resemblance to other sources so that human beings can go verify what their status is. It's also a handy way to get rid of vanity pages. This article, though, is A-OK, and I'll drop it from the list. – PranksterTurtle (talk) 12:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
