Switch (DJ)

Switch (a.k.a. Dave Taylor, A. Brucker, Solid Groove) is a UK-based DJ, sound engineer and record producer.

His style mixes elements of House, dance and electro. He runs his own music label "Dubsided." He further produces with fellow DJ/Producer Sinden, and they both run the label Counterfeet, established in 2006.

As producer, Switch is best known for the track "A Bit Patchy", which is based on the recording of Apache by The Incredible Bongo Band. He has produced songs with M.I.A., travelling to work in A. R. Rahman's studio and other locations in Chennai, India, Trinidad and Tobago and London to collaborate on her second studio album Kala with her. Since then he has gone on to produce for other artists such as Santogold and Tricky. He has also become in demand for his extensive remix work, and has remixed bands such as Basement Jaxx, Lily Allen, X-Press 2 and Bugz in the Attic.

He remixed Nine Inch Nails' Capital G. [1]

He is currently producing an album with Diplo, set for release in 2008.
