[edit] The Mode

Since the season 2007/2008, the system easily was changed. 10 clubs from Super League as well as 17 clubs of the Challenge League were not direct for the Swisscom Cup qualified (game justified was out of the Challenge League the FC Vaduz, that at the Liechtensteiner Cup participated). To these 27 societies, 11 clubs knocked out of the 1st league as well as 26 clubs out of the amateur league. These had to qualify in regional separations for the Swisscom Cup. It was played in the K. O. -system. Each round took place newly within maximally two days and was shifted before because of the European championship 2008 around some months. So the finale found already in April in place of in May or June place.
