Swings (ride)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Swings are types of amusement rides that have seats attached below a metal structure. Each seat is suspended by metal chains. The swing ride will spin around the center axis of the ride, and travel at a moderate speed. Some tilt while others do not. They can be found at amusement parks, carnivals, and fairs / funfairs. The minimum height requirement for most swing rides is 42 inches (1,20m), though it is not uncommon to see restrictions of 48 inches or taller.
