Swing State Project is a popular collaborative politically progressive American politics blog focusing on contentious Congressional elections. It was established in 2003 to cover swing states in the upcoming Presidential election, but has since expanded to cover Congressional races in states and districts sometimes not previously considered competitive. Its founding blogger, "DavidNYC", is also a front page blogger on Daily Kos, the preeminent American progressive political blog. Swing State Project is also a member of the Liberal Blog Network.
