[edit] History

Swinburne Sarawak was established in August 2000, operating in partnership with the Sarawak Foundation and the Sarawak Higher Education Foundation.[1] The campus was officiated by the Chief Minister of Sarawak on June 13, 2001.[2]

Originally an institute, it achieved university status in 2004[3]. A campus expansion is currently going on which would boost student capacity to 5,000 and further expand its facilities. Construction started in late 2005 and is expected to be completed in August 2008. [1][4]

[edit] Location
