- The National Rail code for Swindon railway station, which serves the town of Swindon, Wiltshire in the United Kingdom
- In computing: SWI is an assembler mnemonic to perform a software interrupt on the ARM microprocessor family.
- SWI-Prolog, named after Sociaal-Wetenschappelijke Informatica ("Social Science Informatics"), the former name of the group at the University of Amsterdam where development of the system started.
