Good god, I need to get off RC for a while. My sincere apologies for that revert; I saw no edit summary for it, and thought that it had been randomly deleted. I see now that you edited that section to move it to another, but I at first misunderstood. When editing sections of articles at a time, remember to try and use an edit summary to prevent users from accidentally thinking that it was a section blank. I have been dealing with a lot of section-blanking today, and mistakenly took your edit for another blank. Again, sorry for the bad revert. Cheers, FusionMix 00:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! :) FusionMix 01:54, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copy paste move

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of James Horton and pasted it into James Horton (actor). This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. --Closedmouth (talk) 16:07, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Phi Lambda Sigma

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Phi Lambda Sigma, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Phi Lambda Sigma seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Phi Lambda Sigma, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
