[edit] Bias

This article is not very unbiased.

Passages such as "admirably enlightened" and "United States became increasingly mired in inequality at every level of society" do not speak for a neutral pov.

This whole article is a mess and sounds more like a tiring Swedish nationalistic and for some reason anti-US tirade, than am unbiased encyclopedia article. Rune X2 22:07, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
I removed all references to the US, as they were irrelevant, and in general tried to bring the article around to a neutral POV. 194.68.126.35 23:05, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree: what the has 'arguably the richest person in the world' got to mean?

[edit] Wrong Headline

This article has nothing to do with the Scandinavian movement (a movement promoting cultural pan-scandinavism and political union between Denmark, Sweden and Norway). The article is really about the Scandinavian welfare model.

Ppl and their national pride, I am a Swede... Even if you call something like... the Stockholm syndrome it doesn't mean that it don't occur in other cities. The Scandinavian countries are very similar in traditions and culture so yes its kind of an Scandinavian model. The Norweigian way is the most lucrative... But the model is called Svenska modellen. I point out that the model is not what it was but still...

[edit] Unbalanced ext-links

It would appear that the person or persons selecting the external links had an agenda... - 81.232.2.123 22:49, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Does not seem balanced, yes. Perhaps someone could add reliable sources more supportive of Sweden's welfare? --Childhood's End 14:03, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] links are not neutral

the links are not neutral as far as i can tell, any thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.93.191.147 (talk) 23:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] links

I believe the article at this point is fairly balanced, but the links should be more than simply "critical" ones (at least the person with the agenda had the decency to label it as such). The critical links should not be removed, as they are of good quality, but they should be offset by an equally competent defense of the system. Should the reader want more in depth coverage of the issue and the debate that surrounds it, the links need to provide a varied opinion on the matter.72.92.16.193 05:34, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merging articles?

Should this article be merged with Social security (Sweden) and Folkhemmet. They all discuss the same topic just from different angles. 85.235.250.110 (talk) 14:40, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
