Sweet Stuff feels left out trying to play with the unicorns and Pegasus ponies, but soon realises she has talents of her own.

Sweet Stuff is soaked by the Baby Sea Ponies

Sweet Stuff, an earth pony who's somewhat shy, looks to join her friends at play but can't seem to fit in despite her best efforts. The Bushwoolies prove unable to comprehend the full rules of tag, understanding only that they should run away, which they do until they are long out of sight. The Baby Sea Ponies invite Sweet Stuff to play water polo, but after a few sponges to the face she realises she's being used as a goal post. She learns that the unicorns' ability to disappear makes them unbeatable at hide and seek, and even manages to irritate a squirrel when she tries to befriend it.

Sweet Stuff is ready to give up when she stumbles into the pegasus ponies' scavenger hunt, where she's partnered with Whizzer, the fastest flier in the Estate. Whizzer makes Sweet Stuff feel completely useless by fetching all the simple items without her, all except the final riddle: 'something that is one, even when it's many'. While she puzzles this, Sweet Stuff comes across the Bushwoolies trapped in a tree, and finds they are unable to understand her instructions to come down one by one. Realisation dawns, and Sweet Stuff proudly marches into Paradise Estate with the Bushwoolies in tow - they're 'something that is one, even when it's many', winning her and Whizzer the scavenger hunt.

[edit] Notes

  • Ends with the song 'Be Glad You Are Who You Are'
  • Sweet Stuff is the only earth pony shown in the entire episode (although Truly was mentioned), perhaps to accent her isolation.
  • When the Sea Ponies make their assault on Sweet Stuff, their colors change several times, and at one point Ripple appears to be identical to Water Lily, only keeping her eye color and float unique.
  • Whizzer talks with Gusty's voice while telling the Bushwoolies not to play in ice cream.
  • The French translation was titled Gourmande et la chasse au trésor - 'Greedy and the Search For Treasure'.
