When Andy Fairweather-Low released Sweet Soulful Music in August 2006, it was his first solo album in twenty six years.

Sweet Soulful Music reunited Fairweather-Low with producer Glyn Johns, and featured:

• Singer - Andy Fairweather-Low
• Bassist - David Bronze (who had previously worked with Eric Clapton, Robin Trower and Procol Harum)
• Drummer - Henry Spinetti (Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Roger Daltrey)
• Keyboardist - John "Rabbit" Bundrick (Bob Marley, The Who, Pete Townshend)

Together with Roger Waters’ backing vocalists:

• Katie Kissoon, Carol Kenyon and P. P. Arnold.

Twenty six years is a long wait, but Sweet Soulful Music signalled a return for one of the UK’s most distinctive artists.
