Sweet Female Attitude was an R&B duo[citation needed]consisting of Leanne Brown[citation needed]and Catherine Cassidy[citation needed]from Stockport[citation needed]who are considered a one-hit wonder[citation needed]in the United Kingdom[citation needed]. Their April 2000 single "Flowers" made it to number two in the UK charts[citation needed], going on to be the 37th biggest selling single of the year[citation needed], but the October follow up, "8 Days A Week" stalled miserably at number 43[citation needed]. A further follow up, 2001's "Don't Tell Me" didn't even chart! November '01 saw their album "In Person" released. But that didn't chart either. The final indignity came when their fourth single, "Liquid Emotion" wasn't even released by their label!
Sweet FA, as the name is commonly abbreviated to, were promoted as a 'more realistic' pair of British girls who refused to conform to the industry standards of being thin and well-toned, instead being happy with their figure.[citation needed]
In 2006, Sweet Female Attitude's hit "Flowers" was featured in the Team Ninja video game, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, for the Xbox 360[citation needed]. It is featured as the Cutfather and Joe mix[citation needed]. The song "Dreamin'" and "Nothing To Lose" was also featured in the same game.[citation needed]
In 2007, "Flowers" was included on the UK garage greatest hits CD Pure Garage.[citation needed]
A cover of Sweet Female Attitude's "Flowers" was released on 12" vinyl on the 15th of January 2008 by the female vocalist Jenny Jones.[citation needed]
