Since the election in September 2006, the government has slipped considerably in the polls, and it is now well behind the red-green opposition. A TEMO poll conducted in March 2007 showed s, v and mp leading the government with 12 percentage points. That lead mainly represents the increasing support for the Social Democratic Party.
