For the Eurovision Song Contest 1982, Sweden chose the song Dag efter dag performed by the group Chips. Songwriters and composers were Lasse Holm and Monica Forsberg. The national selection was Melodifestivalen 1982.
Sweden performed 9th, in the middle of the startfield. They finished 8th out of 18 with 67 points.
