[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:WillGriggs.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:WillGriggs.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:27, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Former Deal or No Deal logo Australia.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Former Deal or No Deal logo Australia.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:33, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:RKinski.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:RKinski.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:47, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Deal or No Deal logo Australia2.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Deal or No Deal logo Australia2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Upcoming table on Neighbours

Hi there. Just wanted to apologise if I came over too harsh on your idea on splitting the upcoming table, just I can't see there being more than about 5 or 6 people ever upcoming, seems a bit pointless that's all. Ged UK (talk) 21:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Edits to House Page

Please see the Talk Page before editing this page. There is an ongoing discussion regarding the Characters section, editing it without making a case for doing so does nothing to advance the discussion or solve the dispute. Thank you. Demosthenes X (talk) 21:22, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Toadfish Rebecchi

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Jarrod Rebecchi. This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. [edit] Big Brother 8 AU Future episode.

I put the Template: Future television episode up to indicate that the article may contain information prior to the episodes. Due to the nature of any Big Brother this should be at the top of all current seasons especially the US, UK, or Australia since these versions are highly updated with content from live feeds prior to an airing of an episode. The template should remain until the finale has aired in every time zone in Australia. As you know Big Brother is more than just the launch there are episodes every day (or in the case of the US every other day) spin-offs that reveal more information prior to actual broadcasts, etc. So the template needs to remain until the finale if it is not there you will have editors complaining of the spoiler content (something happened on the live feeds but not on the episode). I hope this clears it up. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 06:42, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Red link in Neighbours (or any other article)

Hi! Just to point out you could have also defended your earlier edits to the Neighbours article by citing the guidelines MOS:LINK and WP:RED. ~~ Peteb16 (talk) 12:03, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:AllanSteigerNeighbours.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:AllanSteigerNeighbours.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
