In light of your recent edit to Murder, I've posted a comment on the talk page that I'd be interested to get your perspective on. Please comment there if you have an opinion. Thanks. —chris.lawson (talk) 06:17, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Oh, and what part of Perth? I have some friends in the area and spent about a year there in 2000-1 at Curtin. Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Go Dockers! etc. ;) —chris.lawson (talk) 06:19, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Lexicon of Science
(User:Hallenrm made this edit to your user page, I removed it and moved it here - Akamad 08:25, 29 November 2005 (UTC)):
Why do old timers of wikipedia act in such an uncivil manner. I know that wikipedia is not a dictionary, it is an encyclopedia on the web. One characterstic of an encyclopedia on web is hyperlinking, which makes it more convenient, to organize and find information. It appears that some people find it difficult to get out of the old mindset. If you are so possesive and decide all matters about wikipedia, then why call it an open encyclopedia. [edit] You're very welcome
I guess at this time of day (7:40pm here in Canberra), there would be a lot of Aussies editing. - Akamad 08:40, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] [Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Sturmgrenadier]
hi, there is an organized campaign to save the above self-promotional vanity games-club page from deletion.... i'm wondering if you'd be willing to take a look and voice your opinion? normally i wouldnt care but (a) i hate organized campaigns from groups of users (especially when they have vested interests but dont declare them) and (b) when challenged about it, they suggested i try it myself! so here i am.... cheers! - FYI, you got on his list because you were one of nearly 100 who happened to be online when he decided to spam about the AfD. --Habap 03:05, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Asbestos
That you had a close family member die of mesothelioma does not render you ineligible to edit on these articles. This does not constitute a 'conflict of interest'. We all have points of views, or we would not be human. My father died of mesothelioma. I have edited asbestos and asbestos and the law, not just because of my personal involvement but also because of my background in science and law.jgwlaw 21:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
