According to the Sri Vaisnava sect of Hinduism, there are eight Svayam Vyakta Ksetras or temples containing Swayambhu murthis. These are:
- Lord Ranganatha at Srirangam
- Lord Venkateswara at Thirumala also known as Venkatadri
- Lord Badrinarayan at Badrinath
- Lord Bhuvaraha at Sri Mushnam
- Lord Devarajan at Naimisaranya
- Lord Totadri Naadhan at Thirunelveli
- Lord ParamaPurusha at Pushkar
- Lord Muktinath at Muktinath
