From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Swarland is a small village in the county of Northumberland, in the United Kingdom. It has a sporting culture; with various amenities at hand such as: 3 tennis courts, a 5-a-side court, football field, golf course, equestrian centre and an astroturf bowling green.

Its main village rival is Felton, Northumberland.

The main attraction is Swarland Working Mens club, where the locals gather to drink themselves to oblivion.

Here the stars gather and a number of celeb look-a-likes ply their trade in a feeble attempt to get a free beer.

The village is rumoured to have several ghosts, including the famous grey dog.
