The Swan Hotel is a noteworthy public house in the West Midlands, formerly run by the landlord through the heady days of the Stourbridge indie rock scene in the early 1990s. It is famous for a possibly apocryphal tale of a fight between Pop Will Eat Itself and some skinheads, although this story does not do justice to the usually warm spirit of the place.
It was the place where the cost-conscious Grebo's in the know went, to avoid the higher prices and hefty "glass deposits" imposed by other local inns.
