[edit] Background Information
Swampblood is the third and final installment of "Southern Gothic" rock band Th' Legendary Shack Shakers' "Tentshow Trilogy", which began with 2004's Believe, and continued with 2006's Pandelirium. Believe's subject matter was that of a tent revival, and Pandelirium's was that of a circus sideshow. Swampblood is inspired by the new home of Shack Shakers front-man J.D. Wilkes, in swampy western Kentucky.[1]
