Swami Krishnananda

Swami Krishnananda was a foremost disciple of Swami Sivananda and the General-Secretary of the Divine Life Society in Rishikesh, India from 1958 until 2001.[1][2]

Swamiji was born in South India on April 25, 1922. He was named Subbaraya at birth.

During the summer of 1944 Swami Krishnananda met his spiritual teacher Swami Sivananda Saraswati.

Swami Krishnananda attained mahasamadhi on November 23, 2001 in Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh, India.
